How to read your result

Overhead is operating costs divided by collections. Cash operating surplus subtracts these costs; the after-owner view also subtracts modeled clinical and administrative compensation. Taxes, depreciation, capital purchases, distributions, and debt principal are excluded. Target-margin collections assume unchanged costs.

Common questions

Collections or production?

Use collections received in the selected period, rather than billed production.

Where does owner pay go?

Enter modeled owner compensation separately. Do not include it again in staff compensation.

Is this net income?

This is a simplified cash operating view, not audited net income or EBITDA.
